The COB seat size is offered in S, M and L

The spine measurement of a COB Saddle/pad is 54cm in English styles and 62cm in Western styles.

Please be aware that the MATTES Skin Saddle Cob-Size is 8 cm shorter than the full-sized version. Therefore, the MATTES Skin Saddle Cob-Size is only available in the seat sizes S, M and L. Because of the smaller bearing area of the cob-sized saddle, the rider‘s weight is distributed onto a smaller area. Therefore, out of consideration for the horse, we kindly ask you not to put more than 70 kg of weight on the cob-sized saddle.

The FULL seat size is offered in S, M, L and XL

The spine measurement of a FULL Saddle/pad is 62cm in English styles and 70cm in Western styles.

In terms of seat sizes - Small suits a rider 8, Medium Suits a rider 10-12, Large suits a rider 14-16, X Large suits a rider 18-20.

The MATTES Skin Saddle Cob-Size was developed for horses with very short backs. Nevertheless, we want to point out that the MATTES Skin Saddle Full-Size can also be used on horses with short backs.
